•            The bells of celebration rang in early July at Vatican to honour HIS HIGHNESS KING MANGO. The preparation began a week prior to the big day with students memorising a peppy rhyme applauding the goodness of mangoes. The teachers zeroed upon yellow tees and jeans with mango cutouts hung around the children’s necks as the ensemble for the day. All the teachers joined them by following the same dress code of yellow.

The objective of the celebration was to encourage children to include mangoes in their diet and make them aware of its health benefits. They were reminded to save the mango seed to plant it later. The proud kindergarteners wore tiaras and crowns made of paper leaves . They were over the moon to sing and dance to their favourite mango rhyme. Every child had one variety of the national fruit as their special tiffin. Some bright tots had also prepared to speak about nutritional facts of mango. The enthusiastic teachers arranged for a joyous photoshoot with a large handmade yellow frame for students to happily pose in. Activities like finger printing, painting and paper pasting were conducted for students. The overjoyed students left school with wonderful memories to remember in the years to come.
