Independence Day

August 15, 1947 is the day that marked the end of British colonial rule and the commencement of democratic rule in India. When we celebrate this day every year, we commemorate the efforts of all those who fought for independence regardless of their own lives. To promote patriotism and awareness amongst the students our school encouraged various activities themed around independence day. Little kindergarteners displayed their fervour by dressing up like their favourite freedom fighters. The older students indulged in creative tasks including salad making, origami, painting, singing and elocution. The senior most classes even took part in the inter school sports meet and grabbed an award for their excellence.
